*Megan Thee Stallion has filed a lawsuit against blogger Milagro Gramz, accusing her of spreading lies regarding the controversial shooting incident involving Tory Lanez in 2020.
On October 30, Megan’s attorneys submitted the lawsuit in Florida, claiming that Gramz (real name Milagro Elizabeth Cooper), serves as a “paid surrogate” for Lanez (born Daystar Peterson) and uses her platform to propagate untruths on his behalf, PEOPLE reports.
In the lawsuit, Megan, 29, claims Milagro shared a “deepfake pornographic video” of her to social media and “falsely claimed that the firearm Mr. Peterson used to shoot Ms. Pete was not produced during the Trial because it was missing.”
Lanez is currently serving 10 years in prison for the shooting incident with Megan. The attorney for the Grammy-winning rapper noted that “the firearm remains in the custody of the Los Angeles Police Department.”
Megan is seeking a jury trial and “monetary damages” as well as her “attorneys’ fees and costs.” Additionally, she wants “a permanent injunction barring Defendant Cooper from any future use or publication of intimate visual depictions of her.”

“It’s time to hold bloggers accountable for years of harassment, cyberbullying and the publication of misinformation about my personal and professional life,” the “WAP” rapper said in a statement about the filing.
“I’ve endured countless attacks on my character based on false narratives from social media bloggers misrepresenting themselves as journalists,” she added.
“It’s unacceptable behavior and these individuals need to understand there will be repercussions for recklessly posting lies and defamatory falsehoods,” Megan said.
Cooper reacted to Megan’s lawsuit on X, writing, “I’ve been informed that I’m being sued by Alex Spiro on behalf of his client Megan Thee Stallion.”
“Countersuit gone go crazy,” she wrote in a follow-up post.
