*Meagan Good’s sister has had it up to here with Hollywood overlooking the “Think Like a Man” fixture. Taking to social media, La’Miya Good made it known that Meagan is long overdue in getting her props from Tinseltown.
“I am so motherf***ing sick of it. This industry owes her so many awards,” La’Miya, a singer and actress, stated during a recent Live session. “I am so sick of seeing this industry not giving her her props.”
Taking note of Meagan’s career, Madame mentioned numerous nominations she has collected over the years, including nods for notable performances in “Harlem” and “Buying Back My Daughter”
While Meagan is known and highly regarded by La’Miya and her fans, her sibling sees consistent snubs directed at her famous sibling for major awards. In La’Miya’s eyes, her sister is more than worthy of the accolades befitting someone who has regularly put the time and effort into being among the most established in the Hollywood landscape.
Yet, some feel Meagan’s work hasn’t reached the level of universal acclaim among those in the entertainment industry. Madame Noire cites Meagan’s work in classic films such as “Stomp the Yard” and “Eve’s Bayou” as examples demonstrating range and depth as an actor.

Still, social media is notorious for airing opinions of those who are not afraid to counter a particular viewpoint. No matter how good the actor is.
“Love Meagan, but Eve’s Bayou was almost 30 years ago, and that is her most memorable role,” someone posted, while another highlighted Meagan’s lack of a standout role and performance, saying “She’s good. But she doesn’t have standout roles. No shade. But when have you heard someone say Meagan killed it??”
“You’re her sister, so we understand you won’t see it … but MG is an average actress., a social media user mentioned while calling out La’Myia and Meagan directly. “None of her work has been profound. She’s good, but not that good! No pun intended.”
