*Jonathan Majors and his alleged girlfriend Meagan Good attended the African-American Film Critics Association Special Achievement Awards Luncheon in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Their red carpet debut comes a month before the disgraced actor is scheduled for sentencing for misdemeanor assault and harassment on his ex, Grace Jabbari.
As TMZ reports, Majors told reporters at the event that he and Meagan are “in love,” with the actress adding, “We’re doing great. God’s good.”
Good supported Majors during his assault trial with Jabbari that ended in December.
During his interview with “Good Morning America” in January, Majors said Good “held me down” like Coretta Scott King amid his domestic violence trial.
Majors made similar remarks about how Coretta supported her husband (Martin Luther King Jr.) to Jabbari in a recorded audio that was released during the ex-couple’s domestic violence trial last year.
“She’s an angel. She’s held me down like… a Coretta,” he told GMA post-conviction about Good. “I’m so blessed to have her. “You know, the relationship is still fresh, but, you know, I think I found her.”
Majors faced eight misdemeanor charges, including assault, aggravated harassment, and harassment, and entered a plea of not guilty to each accusation. He was convicted of one misdemeanor assault charge and one harassment violation in December 2023. Majors was acquitted of a different assault charge and aggravated harassment.
The two-week trial ultimately damaged his reputation and ruined his Hollywood career.
Majors is due for sentencing on April 8.
