*Keith Lee is giving a personal co-sign to a well-known gluten-free eatery. The thumbs up came after the influencer and his family visited Jewel’s Bakery and Cafe, a restaurant located in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix, AZ, according to azcentral.com
In his latest video, Lee revealed his sister has not participated in many of his food reviews, due to her being is gluten-free. Finding Jewel’s, the popular brunch spot was just what he needed
“I love how many options it is, and I’m sure (my sister) loves it even more. Every time we try to find gluten-free food for her, it’s the same thing. The texture is usually always off or it’s very limited options,” Lee said.
Going into his food review, Elee ordered pancakes, a waffle chicken sandwich and p+c+d, a Jewel’s creation consisting of popcorn chicken and donut holes.
Up first was the chicken sandwich for Lee, who earned a rating of 7 out of 10 for Lee. Although the gluten-free status was present and Lee admitted the chicken could’ve used more sauce or seasoning, the food’s taste could not be denied.

“As someone who is not gluten-free, I’m not complaining one bit,” said Lee, who mentioned that he “would have never known” his food was gluten-free.
Rating the popcorn chicken 7.2 out of 10, Lee reinforced his feelings on the food, saying if no one had told him it was gluten-free, he would not have been able to tell.
“The texture is really good for gluten-free, because usually even cooking gluten-free, it’s falling off the chicken and it’s crumbly. I give it a solid 8,” Lee’s sister said.
Also earning high marks was the donut hole, which scored a 7 out of 10.
“What flour they use? This doesn’t taste gluten-free at all. Are they telling the truth?” Lee said.
“For me, this makes me happy because I usually can’t have donuts. I’m going 8.2,” the influencer’s sister added.
Rounding out the meal was the pancake, which was saved for last. Like the popcorn chicken and chicken sandwich, Lee rated the pancake a 7 out of 10, with the homemade buttermilk syrup especially getting on his good side.
Lee’s praise of Jewels’ wasn’t lost on his Phoenix fans, who thanked him for putting the spotlight on aa gluten-free establishment.
“7/10 for a celiac is a 11/10! Takin the day off tomorrow to go! Woot!!” One user wrote.

The moment wasn’t lost on Jewel’s Bakery and Cafe either.
“Crying. This is so amazing. Thank you @keith_lee125 for coming to Jewel’s and for your review, the eatery posted. We are so blessed to have the awesome staff and supportive community that we have. You all helped make this happen,” the eatery posted on Instagram.
