*In an interview with Radio 2 Breakfast DJ Scott Mills, Janet Jackson revealed her family connections to several surprising big names in entertainment.
Jackson confirmed that Stevie Wonder and Tracy Chapman are her cousins and also joked that Hollywood star Samuel L. Jackson is a cousin as well. In a clip shared on social media, Scott asked Janet if she was related to Stevie, and she confirmed that the music icon was indeed her cousin.
“He’s our cousin,” Jackson revealed. “Not a lot of people know that. He’s our cousin on my mother’s side. So is Tracy Chapman,” she added before noting that she is also related to Jackson. She joked, “He would be my cousin, too. I mean he’s not my brother.”

Jackson is preparing to launch her upcoming Europe tour and is also finalizing plans for a Las Vegas residency later this year, according to All Hip Hop.
