*A TikToker who bragged about living in a storage unit has been kicked out of the space after self-snitching on social media.
Complex reports that Leland Brown Jr., 28, posted a video of himself detailing the benefits of illegally living in a storage unit with his 21-year-old girlfriend. Brown is homeless, allegedly works at a hotel, and has been documenting his journey on TikTok.
“Me and my baby will live here as long as we need to until we can get the shelter that we want,” he said in one clip, according to Complex. “Because we’re living here, now we can save up more money to get what we really want. We’re in it for the long haul.”
Brown Jr. explains in a video that he lives “in a storage unit because it’s cheap in comparison to an apartment.”
He added, “Living here is actually really comfortable I get a lot of things that I need and want to get done here.”

He goes on to list the activities he can do inside the storage unit, such as blasting loud music, cooking, exercising, and 24/7 access to heat, power, and the bathrooms.
Brown Jr.’s videos have gone viral, with the most recent update receiving 11.8 million views on TikTok. But once the building’s management caught wind of the clips, Brown Jr. and his girl were kicked out.
“We got kicked out of our storage unit. The higher ups found out about my video. It went so viral, we ended up getting kicked out. Now we’re just trying to figure out where to go and what we’re going to do with all of our stuff,” he said in a video posted Friday.
“Figured I was gonna get kicked out, but I’m willing to take risks and have a crazy come up,” Brown Jr. said.
“We’ll be staying at this hotel for a couple days for free,” said Brown Jr. in his latest update, per Yahoo. “I’m just grateful that somebody is thinking of us like that on that level and willing to give us their resources like that. We’re gonna have a good time and relax for once.”
