*Federal investigators have their sights set on Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, with speculation pointing to his ex-girlfriend, Cassie, potentially playing a pivotal role as a witness in the investigation.
The former singer has reportedly informed the feds of her willingness to cooperate in the ongoing investigation into the music mogul.
In November 2023, Diddy settled a $30 million dollar lawsuit with Cassie after she accused him of rape, sex trafficking and domestic violence. The pair had a decade-long relationship before they called it quits in 2018. She later tied the knot with Diddy’s former trainer, and they have two children.
According to TMZ, Cassie has collaborated with investigators for several weeks.
Meanwhile, 50 Cent is trolling Diddy again amid new reports about Cassie’s alleged cooperation in a federal investigation. He shared a screenshot of the TMZ story with the caption, “… it’s not looking good for the Diddler.”
Fiddy is allegedly producing a docuseries about Puff Daddy’s legal woes tentatively titled Diddy Do It.
When sharing a poster for the series, he told fans, “This is gonna break records when this drops.” It’s currently uncertain when the docuseries will be released.
In related news, Rodney Jones, a former employee of Diddy’s, is among the accusers whose lawsuits may have sparked the federal investigation. However, TMZ reports that the feds have not interviewed him as a witness.
In the lawsuit filed in New York Federal court, Jones, 54, claims that for more than a year, Combs sexually harassed, drugged, and threatened him, NBC News reports.
Jones served as Comb’s videographer while traveling with him from September 2022 to November 2023. Throughout this period, he allegedly documented extensive video and audio evidence of Combs, his associates, and additional individuals participating in significant unlawful activities.
Shawn Holley, Diddy’s attorney, said Jones is a “liar” looking for a big payday.
“His reckless name-dropping about events that are pure fiction and simply did not happen is nothing more than a transparent attempt to garner headlines,” Holley said. “We have overwhelming, indisputable proof that his claims are complete lies. Our attempts to share this proof with Mr. Jones’ attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, have been ignored, as Mr. Blackburn refuses to return our calls. We will address these outlandish allegations in court and take all appropriate action against those who make them.”
