*Following the public display of affection between Aoki Lee Simmons and Vittorio Assaf during their recent trip to St. Barts, insiders close to the 21-year-old have confirmed that the pair have called it quits.
According to sources, Simmons herself has denied any romantic involvement with the wealthy restauranteur, who is 44 years her senior.
“It’s over,” a close associate of Simmons revealed to Page Six on Monday. “There’s absolutely no relationship between them.”
Reportedly, Aoki Simmons reiterated her stance to a friend, stating, “I’m definitely not with him. I never was.”
Another source close to Vittorio Assaf provided insight into the 65-year-old’s dating preferences, describing him as an “older man with youthful charm” who has always been drawn to younger, attractive women.
“He may be aging, but his taste remains the same,” the source disclosed to Page Six. “It wouldn’t surprise me if he’s out with another young woman tonight!”
As we reported previously, Simmons and Assaf were linked when they were photographed vacationing together in St. Barts, sparking controversy due to their significant age difference.
Despite confirming their relationship in an Instagram Live video towards the end of their Caribbean trip, Aoki has since put an end to the speculation.
In response to the rumors, Kimora Lee Simmons, Aoki’s mother, appeared to express frustration in a now-deleted social media post.
Meanwhile, Russell Simmons, Aoki’s father, has taken a more supportive approach, choosing to offer advice and unconditional love in light of the situation.
Contrary to the assumptions surrounding her, a close friend of Aoki’s dismissed the notion of her being materialistic or interested in lavish gifts, asserting that she is more of a geek who doesn’t prioritize expensive possessions.
