*50 Cent hit up social media to reveal his role in Mary J. Blige receiving a proper salary from STARZ for her starring role in “Power Book II: Ghost.”

His remarks come after the hip-hop star/TV producer said he wants to work with Taraji P. Henson, who explained in an interview last month that she fired her team for not having projects and endorsements lined up amid the popularity of her Cookie character in the hit FOX TV series “Empire.”

“Someone called me today thinking I was bullsh!ting about working with @tarajiphenson till I told them what I made STARZ pay @therealmaryjblige to be on GHOST, I ain’t out here fvcking around,” 50 wrote on Instagram.

In a recent SAG-AFTRA conversation moderated by Variety, Henson said her entire team failed her after “Empire” ended.

“Everybody had to f*cking go,” she said. “Where is my deal? Where’s my commercial? Cookie was at the top of the fashion game. Where is my endorsement? What did you have set up for after this? That’s why you all haven’t seen me in so long. They had nothing set up.”

Henson continued, “All they wanted was another Cookie show. All they wanted was another Cookie show, and I said, ‘I’ll do it, but it has to be right. The people deserve…she’s too beloved for y’all to f*ck it up.’ And so, when they didn’t get it right, I was like, ‘Well, that’s it,’ and they had nothing else. ‘You’re all f*ckin’ fired.’ It took me years to get there…you are the prize. Don’t you ever forget that. You are the talent. You are their check. Don’t every forget that. They work for you. If they are not…somebody else will do it. I stayed with the same team for years.”

50 Cent said Henson’s team “dropped the ball” and told the actress in a social media post that he’s “ready to work” with her.

Henson explained to THR that she’s “been fighting tooth and nail every project to get that same freaking [fee] quote.”

The actress said, “… it’s a slap in the face when people go, ‘Oh girl, you work all the time. You always working.’ Well, goddammit, I have to. It’s not because I wish I could do two movies a year and that’s that. I have to work because the math ain’t mathing,” Henson added. “And I have bills.”

Henson also discussed the pay gap for Black women in Hollywood during an emotional conversation on Gayle King‘s Sirius XM radio show. Watch the clip below.
