*A disturbing viral video shows two teens laughing as they intentionally crash their vehicle into a bicyclist in Nevada, killing the retired police chief.
The 17-year-old driver was initially charged with hit-and-run. But after the cyclist died at the hospital, the charges were upgraded to include murder, TMZ reports.Â
The heartless juveniles filmed themselves riding down a street in Las Vegas on August 14, coming up behind Andreas Probst as he rode his bicycle. The passenger filmed on his cell phone their plot to run over Probst while laughing with the driver. You can hear them say, “Ready?” and “Yeah, hit his ass.”
Probst was thrown onto the windshield before falling to the ground when the driver crashed into him. The teens fled the scene after the crash but the driver was quickly arrested and charged after the video was posted online.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead.
It’s unclear if the passenger was charged for the hit-and-run and murder, according to TMZ.
