*The Vanguard Affinity Group (VAG) and the Talent Concierge Artists Agency (TCAA) have confirmed sponsorship of the 24th Los Angeles “Uplifting Minds II” Entertainment Conference. Both VAG and TCAA will be supplying talent on Saturday, November 11, 2023, starting at 1pmPST/4pmEST, for the Zoom powered entertainment conference.
The Vanguard Affinity Group is headed by founder Draper Winston, an actor, author, and filmmaker. The VAG agency offers public relations, branding, legal consult, and production services. Their clients include actors/actresses, models, content creators, authors, and filmmakers. Some of their clients include actress/model Katyiah Carter (Love & Drugs), actor Jamaal Randall (Knee Deep), and Santosha Nicole (Blind Confession). Winston, an Indie Series Award winner, acting credits include stage plays (Dream with Your Eyes Open), movies (Walker, No Ordinary Love), mini-series (Lover’s Revenge), and television series (Low Key Hustle). He has also produced nine projects and serves as film editor on eight projects. The Talent Concierge Artists Agency is headed by founder Connie Pheiff, MPA a celebrity business manager. Jeff Pheiff, MBA is co-founder of TCAA and is a seasoned executive strategist who handles the operations. Connie manages, brands, scouts, and cultivates talent. Their clients include professional speakers, athletics, entertainers, actors/actresses, producers, relationship coaches, surgeons, TV personalities, authors, and models. Some TCAA clients include Sean Bennett (Universal Studios, Walt Disney), Natasha McCrea (Johnson & Johnson), Joel Green, former NBA forward for Rider Broncs (Nike Sports Camps), and Vera Jones (WGTR 107.9, ESPN, NBA TV).
The ULMII Entertainment Conference consists of a Professional Panel Q&A Session, a Professional Talent Showcase, and a National Talent Competition (singers, songwriters, dancers, and actors) where the acts with the top three scores win over $18,000 in products, services, and cash. Performers in the Professional Showcase are signed to independent labels, management companies, or talent agencies. Some of the prizes include free studio time, free mixing and mastering, free legal advice and contracts, free A&R coaching, a scholarship to the Debbie Allen Dance Academy, and more.
The panelists will be on hand to provide comments after each talent show performance and will determine who the winners will be. Aside from the free products, services, and cash., winners will garner the “ULMII Grand Prize,” “ULMII Runner Up,” and “ULMII Third Place” Awards.
Connie Pheiff (TCAA) will join the current panelists for the Saturday, November 11 ULMII virtual entertainment conference.
