*It’s tiiiimmmmme for Social Heat! As we reported earlier, Tiffany Haddish went viral after she followed Shakira around backstage at the MTV VMA Awards (where the singer won the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award). In a weird scenario, Haddish followed Shakira around backstage while belting out her name constantly in an attempt to get her attention. The outlandish-looking clip caused many to say Haddish was damn near harassing the singer. However, Haddish has clapped back at the criticism. Via X, the comic/actor said, “This soooooo interesting to me. If you feel like I did too much All of y’all better be buying @shakira new album! This experience has [allowed] me to realize how truly popular I am. I appreciate all of your opinions… Thank You ???????? Shana Tova.”
Just in case you didn’t hear about or see it, footage surfaced of Nicki Minaj‘s husband, Kenneth Petty, and some of his associates standing outside at night somewhere in the world, seemingly calling out Offset, asking where he was. The video has gone viral, and now Offset is getting around to responding. Hilariously, we might add. While walking down the stairs of a private jet, Offset laughed and said, “I’m gettin’ off a jet, these f**k n***as. These n***as broke. We hopping off jets, y’all n***as standing outside.” Now that’s a classic observation!
Here’s some sobering news out of the Middle East. In Dubai, officials arrested six people in connection with the discovery and seizure of nearly 14 tons of a highly addictive stimulant known as Captagon. It’s also known as the “poor man’s cocaine.” Aha! Anyway, according to reports, the pills, with a street value of roughly $1.1 billion, were hidden inside 651 doors and 432 decorative panels and shipped in five containers. With the move, possibly what was the largest drug smuggling operation in the Middle East, is out of business. This means there’s now a huge hole in the market for Captagon and someone is going to eventually fill it. But we digress.
Diddy has a new album out (The Love Album: Off the Grid) and of course, he’s out on the promotion trail to help get the word out. One of the stops was Apple Radio 1 for a 3-hour “takeover” with Yung Miami and other celebs in his orbit. Seeing as how the Diddy and ½ of the City Girls’ relationship comes off as more transactional than romantic, after a quick prompt/setup from Diddy, Miss Miami, 29, took it straight to the bedroom to let the world know that it was him (at 53) who “didn’t tap out.” As theJasmineBrand wrote, “Now do y’all understand why Caresha said they go together ‘real-bad?’” ????
