The majestic splendor of the orchestra, the infectious songs, and melodies, and the quadruple threat singer-actor-dancer-puppeteer performers, all ignite under the direction of Julie Taylor, who also designed the costumes.
Original Lion King music is by Elton John and Tim Rice, with additional music by Lebo M. Mark Mancina, Jay Rifkin, Julie Taymor and Hans Zimmer.
