*Sony Pictures has set a release date for “Bad Boys 4” starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence.
Directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, the hotly anticipated fourth installment in the beloved action franchise will be released on June 14, 2024, Urban Hollywood 411 reports.
Smith and Lawrence were spotted filming “Bad Boys 4” in May and set photos quickly circulated on social media.
As EUR reported previously, the Instagram account @atlantafilming shared photos from the Atlanta set of BB4, and one image showed Smith and Lawrence filming on a rooftop.
Earlier this year, Smith and Lawrence confirmed that they’re reprising their roles as detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett. The actors shared a video on Instagram that was captioned: “IT’S ABOUT THAT TIME!”
In April, Smith and Lawrence appeared via video at CinemaCon and joked, “We’re not sorry we couldn’t be there,” according to Variety — because they were busy filming “Bad Boys 4.”
Smith took to Instagram in February and shared a video of him getting into a car and telling fans… “Yo, I’ve got an announcement. Y’all better stop scrolling. Seriously.”
He then headed to Lawrence’s house, where the actor opened the door and asked, “It’s about that time?” Both stars then say in unison “Bad boys 4 life”.
