*We’re just now hearing about it and thus informing you that … Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are parents to a second child that was born earlier this month. Well, what was a secret is no more.
However, sources with direct knowledge told TMZ the baby, another boy baby, came into the world on August 3rd in Los Angeles. The lil dude’s name hasn’t been completely revealed his first name supposedly starts with an R for what it’s worth.
Speaking of the letter R in the new baby’s name, keep in mind that the couple’s 15-month-old son is named RZA (pronounced “Rizza”). His full name is RZA Athelston Mayers. It’s an homage, of course, to the famous leader of the Wu-Tang Clan, whose real name is Robert Fitzgerald Diggs. So, anyway, do we see some kind of “R” theme or pattern going on here?
As far as the new baby, we got hip to him when Rihanna and A$AP was seen with an obvious baby bump during her Super Bowl halftime show back in February, shocking viewers all around the world.
This latest development officially makes RZA a big brother.
In other Rihanna news, earlier this Summer she announced she was stepping down as Chief Executive Officer of her lingerie company Savage X Fenty, which she founded in 2018.
The pop star announced her replacement will be former Anthropologie Group CEO Hillary Super, Vogue Business reports. Rihanna, whose personal net worth is estimated at more than $1.4 billion, will remain in the background as executive chair.
“It’s been beautiful to see our vision for Savage X Fenty impact the industry at such an incredible magnitude over the last five years. This is just the beginning for us, and we’re going to continue to expand in ways that always connect with the consumer,” Rihanna said in a statement.
In the meantime, let’s all congratulate Rihanna and ASAP Rocky on the birth of their second child.
