Kandi Burruss’ ATL Restaurant Old Lady Gang FINALLY Scores ‘A’ Health Score | VIDEO

*The Old Lady Gang Restaurant is thriving. But it’s been a struggle. Based on official records, the Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker-owned restaurant was inspected on March 1 by the Georgia Department of Public Health. The restaurant was awarded an ‘A’ health score with a 100 / 100 score. Previously, the premises had a ‘C’ rating with a 75 score per the July 2021 inspection.

As per the previous inspection, some of the issues included sliced cheese, raw salmon, and sliced tomatoes that had been stored above 41 degrees. The inspector said in the report, “Working containers of food removed from original container not identified by common name.”

Two weeks earlier, an independent health inspection disclosed that the kitchen had no soap or paper towels at the handwashing sink, among other violations. Besides, the inspector had also noticed that sliced cheese, raw hamburger, shrimp, chicken, and crab cake needed to be stored at the right temperature.

In February 2021, the Old Lady Gang bagged a 77 rating but improved to 94 weeks later. Sadly, things went downhill during the July 2021 inspection.

And according to Radar Online, Blaze, another restaurant owned by the couple, was recently awarded n ‘A’ rating two years after a failed inspection and temporary shutdown.

The inspector awarded Blaze a 91/100 score during the latest inspection, with one of the issues in the report being, “Observed two employees prepping food with no hair restraint. CFSM instructed both employees to put on a hair restraint and wash hands then return to work.”

The inspector added, “Observed no soap in employee handing wash sink on cook line and in the bar.”

According to RadarOnline.com, Blaze received a ‘B’ rating during the July 2022 inspection and a ‘C’ rating in the previous one. Burruss and Tucker even voluntarily closed the restaurant for a few days due to failing inspection grades, but they are back stronger and better.
