*Cash App founder Bob Lee allegedly attended sex and drug parties in the Bay Area with the sister of his alleged killer.
According to Lee’s friends, the tech executive was part of San Francisco’s circle of wealthy elites known as “The Lifestyle,” an underground sex party scene for rich freaks and swingers where casual drug use is permitted, the Wall Street Journal reports.
Lee, 43, a father of two, allegedly frequented these parties, as did Khazar Momeni, 37, sister of Nima Momeni, 38, the man accused of stabbing Lee multiple times on April 4.
Insiders claim Lee and Khazar were sleeping together, and Nima confronted him about it at a house party before stabbing Lee, according to prosecutors, the New York Post reports.
Surveillance footage captured Lee stumbling around on the street in a well-to-do San Francisco neighborhood begging for help before collapsing minutes from Khazar’s apartment. He died from stab wounds to the chest.
According to The Post, prosecutors alleged Nima confronted Lee at the party on April 3, asking if he and his sister were “doing drugs or anything inappropriate.” The argument spilled into the early morning hours of April 4 when Nima allegedly stabbed Lee. He was later attested and charged with Lee’s murder last month.
Lee’s friends claim he was a hard partyer who allegedly slept with multiple women at “The Lifestyle” parties, including Khazar. According to friends, the tech entrepreneur struggled with drug addiction and unresolved childhood trauma in the months leading up to the attack, The Post reports.
Insiders claim Lee developed a dangerous lifestyle by surrounding himself with the wrong type of people. However, Lee’s ex-wife Krista never heard of “The Lifestyle,” according to The Post, and rejects allegations that he was a “party boy”.
Meanwhile, according to an autopsy report, Lee had cocaine and ketamine in his system when he died.
The Post reports that Khazar texted Lee after his argument with her brother, according to court documents.
“Just wanted to make sure you’re doing ok Cause I know Nima came wayyyyyy down hard on you,” she allegedly wrote.
“And thank you for being such a class manhandling it with class. Love you Selfish pricks,” she added, according to The Post.
Nima faces at least two decades behind bars if convicted.
