It is with this that in collaboration with the Cartoonists Association of Nigeria CARTAN, Goethe-Institute based in Lagos is holding an exhibition which kicked off last Saturday 3rd March called The Labour of a hero’s past? The cartoons displayed resonated with the conduct of the elections and the impact it has had on the lives of Nigerians, bringing different angles in the creative cartoon drawings that praise or criticize governance processes and speak truth to those in power.

There was also an Election talk/discussion on the day of the opening of the cartoon exhibition.

Exhibiting cartoonists whose cartoons are on display, include, Dada Adekola, current President of CARTAN and past President, Mike Asukwo, Albert Ohams, Segun Awosinyan, TAYO Fatunla, Jimoh Ganiyu, Leke Moses, Chino Obasi, Don Marvel, Victor Asowata, Kenny Omotosho, Jimoh Samsudeen, Francis Odupute, and Mustapha Bulama.
