*Boxing star Gervonta Davis was arrested Tuesday on a domestic violence charge in Broward County Florida, and he’s now speaking out about the incident.

According to TMZ, an unidentified woman (presumed to be his baby mama) called 911 during the alleged attack and begged for help, screaming at the operator, “He’s going to kill me!”

The incident reportedly occurred at a home in Parkland, FL at around 1:25 PM.

“I need help, please!” the woman said in the call. “I’m trying to go home. I have my baby in the car, and he attacked me in front of the kid. And, now he’s messing up my tires!”

“Please, help me! He’s going to kill me!” she can be heard saying in the 911 call.

After the call disconnects, the woman calls again and tells the operator “I need to go home, I’m in danger right now!”

In a separate 911 call, the woman allegedly claimed Davis spit at her.

According to police, Davis struck the woman in the face with a “closed hand type slap” — leaving her with a small abrasion to the inside of her upper lip, per TMZ.

Davis was arrested and booked on a domestic violence battery charge. He was jailed overnight but was eventually released on Wednesday afternoon, TMZ reports.

Following his release from jail on Wednesday, Davis shared a lengthy statement on his Instagram page in which he called the allegations “bulls***” and said, “I am not a monster.”

Per TMZ, Davis wrote, “I NEVER PUT MY HANDS ON MY CHILD MOTHER NOR MY F***ING DAUGHTER ARE YOU F***ING CRAZY!!” He added, “IM NOT A MONSTER.”

Davis is slated to fight against Hector Luis Garcia in just 10 days —  in Washington D.C. It’s unclear if his arrest will affect the match.

Davis has a prior domestic violence arrest in 2020 when he injured his ex-girlfriend’s lip and jaw after grabbing her by the throat at a charity event in Miami. The incident was captured on video.
