Trump’s ‘Infested’ Insult of Baltimore Causes CNN Anchor to Get Emotional on Air – WATCH

*Victor Blackwell, a CNN weekend anchor, couldn’t deal with the orange a-hole’s assessment of his hometown of Baltimore and got downright emotional on the air after Trump called his city “a disgusting, rat and rodent-infested mess.”

Blackwell went in on Donald Trump for his remarks on Saturday criticizing Rep. Elijah Cummings, whose district includes much of Baltimore.

The newsman noted rightly that Trump used the term “infested,” saying that the president often uses the term to criticize non-whites, according to the Daily Mail.

“The president says about congressman Cummings’ district that no human would want to live there. You know who did, Mr. President? I did,” said Blackwell, choking up live on air. “From the day I was brought home from the hospital, to the day I left for college and a lot of people I care about still do. There are challenges, no doubt. But people are proud of their community.”

Blackwell added …

“I don’t want to sound self-righteous, but people get up and go to work there, they care for their families there, they love their children who pledge allegiance to the flag just like people who live in districts of congressmen who support you, sir. They are Americans too,” he concluded, tearing up as he threw to a commercial break.

Trump wasn’t through. Saturday night he doubled down on his comments by taking to Twitter with this:

“So sad that Elijah Cummings has been able to do so little for the people of Baltimore. Statistically, Baltimore ranks last in almost every major category. Cummings has done nothing but milk Baltimore dry, but the public is getting wise to the bad job that he is doing!”

Trump being Trump, didn’t stop there. He also tweeted and retweeted videos showing residents speaking about the problems in their city and showing the mess they are surrounded by.

RUSH LIMBAUGH: ‘MICHELLE OBAMA WILL SAVE DEMOCRATS IN 2020 PRESIDENTIAL RACE’

Meanwhile, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi led elected Democrats in denouncing Trump’s remarks, saying in a statement:

“We all reject racist attacks against [Cummings] and support his steadfast leadership.”

And then there’s David Simon, the creator of the HBO series The Wire about crime and law enforcement in Baltimore, also slammed Trump.

‘If this empty-suit, race-hating fraud had to actually visit West Baltimore for five minutes and meet any of the American citizens who endure there, he’d wet himself,’ Simon wrote in a tweet.
