*Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry recently took a stand against rapper and activist Killer Mike after the latter appeared to endorse a viral TikTok video targeting Curry’s wife, Ayesha.
As Vibe reports, the controversy erupted when TikToker Bookie Woodz posted a video accusing Ayesha of seeking male attention and subtly undermining her husband. “Ayesha Curry is putting in maximum effort to let the world know that she’s struggling with trying not to cheat on her husband,” Woodz claimed in the clip. He added, “She wants to go be GloRilla or some sh*t. Like, we get it, bro. Just go drop an album or some sh*t.”
Killer Mike commented on the post, seemingly agreeing with Woodz’s perspective. “My ni**a said she wanna go be Glo!!! Man Steph doesn’t deserve the embarrassment [for real]. God bless him,” he wrote. The comment caught Curry’s attention, prompting a response shared via a screenshot by The Shade Room. “@killermike naaaaa not you Mike,” Curry wrote, expressing his disbelief.

Curry didn’t stop there, addressing both the TikToker and Mike in his response. “I’m cool [staying] silent and letting these other clowns have [their] moment! And you’re the worst of them,” he said, referring to Woodz. He continued, “But you’re better than that @killermike. Stay in your lane and let God keep blessing me like he is. We r good over here.” Both Curry’s and Mike’s comments were later removed.
The incident reignited discussions about past scrutiny of Ayesha, particularly her 2019 appearance on Red Table Talk. During the episode, she discussed her struggles with insecurity, stating, “Something that really bothers me and has honestly given me a sense of a little bit of an insecurity is the fact that, yeah, there are all these women throwing themselves at Steph, but me, I don’t have any of that.”
