*A sexual harassment lawsuit against Lil Uzi Vert has been dismissed after the plaintiff voluntarily withdrew her claims. The former assistant, identified in court documents as Jane Doe, dropped the case with prejudice last week, which legally bars her from refiling the lawsuit in the future.
The Tribune reports that the original complaint named the Philadelphia rapper, his company UziVert LLC, and Roc Nation as defendants. Doe’s allegations centered on inappropriate workplace conduct spanning from 2022 to 2025, including claims that Uzi sent sexually explicit communications. According to court filings, the messages included statements such as “Come rub me down before you leave” and “Let me see that booty.”
The lawsuit further alleged that when Doe rebuffed these advances, Uzi responded with verbal abuse. Her legal representatives argued the situation inflicted emotional distress and financial hardship, while also accusing Roc Nation of perpetuating a harmful work environment. The plaintiff pursued both compensatory and punitive damages for psychological harm and professional damage.
Neither party has publicly revealed whether a financial settlement was reached. The terms of the dismissal remain confidential. Meanwhile, Roc Nation has remained silent regarding the case’s outcome and has not issued any public statements about the matter.
In related news, the hip-hop star is facing another legal challenge after artist Rief Rawyal filed a copyright infringement lawsuit seeking $110 million in damages over Uzi’s 2022 hit “Just Wanna Rock.” According to Hot97, Rawyal contends the track lifts core components from his earlier song “Pain and Pleasure,” specifically alleging that Uzi “copied the original hook, melody, and theme.”
The lawsuit includes analysis from forensic musicologist Brian McBrearty, who determined the songs share 93 to 97 percent similarity in tempo, rhythm, structure, and lyrical phrasing. Rawyal names Lil Uzi Vert, Atlantic Records, Generation Now, Roc Nation, and Warner Music Group as defendants. He is pursuing publishing credit, co-ownership rights, and financial compensation for lost earnings.
