*On Monday, August 26, renowned Atlanta rapper Lil Baby found himself behind bars after being arrested in Las Vegas for allegedly carrying a weapon without a permit. The rapper, whose real name is Dominique Jones, was in town to perform at NBA star James Harden’s birthday celebration.
Authorities took Lil Baby to the Clark County Detention Center where he was held on $5,000 bail. He has now been released, with footage of the arrest circulating online.

They clarified, “To be clear, Dominique Jones has a valid Georgia Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW) Permit. On his behalf, we are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding his arrest in Las Vegas.”
TMZ also reported that the authorities were compelled to the scene after video evidence reportedly showed the 29-year-old rapper being handed a firearm at the venue.
