As Deadline reports, Roth will direct the film and Snoop Dogg will create its original soundtrack, with both serving as producers alongside MCT’s Christopher Woodrow and Raj Singh. The film is being pitched to international buyers at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival, with WME Independent handling international rights.
While the plot remains confidential, the film is touted as the ultimate haunted house experience. “There are some ideas that are so ridiculous they don’t let you sleep. I have always wanted to make the ultimate haunted house movie, but something unlike any we’ve seen — something full-on insane and over the top,” said Roth. “When I shared the idea with Snoop, he got it immediately and it was a no-brainer to make this film together. Snoop loves horror movies, and I want this to be the ultimate collab, bringing out the craziest from both of us. Just don’t say we didn’t warn you.”

This project marks a reunion for Roth and Snoop Dogg, who previously worked together on the 2012 music video “La La La,” directed by Roth. MCT leaders Woodrow and Singh expressed enthusiasm for the partnership. “We are proud to be collaborating with two trailblazing creatives – Eli Roth and Snoop Dogg – to bring Don’t Go in That House, Bitch! to life,” said MCT principals Woodrow and Singh.
“Eli’s visionary approach to horror, combined with Snoop’s unparalleled creative energy, promises a film that will push boundaries and captivate audiences. At MCT, we’re committed to fueling bold, innovative projects like this one, and we can’t wait to share what comes of this innovative collaboration,” the duo added.
The film is Roth’s second venture with The Horror Section, following “Ice Cream Man,” which was picked up by international buyers at Cannes and completed principal photography in Toronto. “Ice Cream Man” is slated for a wide theatrical release in 2026.
