*Cardi B is reportedly set to take the Super Bowl stage as a surprise guest during Bad Bunny’s halftime performance at Super Bowl LX. The event will be held in February 2026 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, and according to Media Take Out, sources indicate that plans for the appearance are already underway.
Bad Bunny will headline the halftime show and intends to feature special guests during his performance, with Cardi B rumored to make a high-profile appearance. The two artists share a history of collaboration, having teamed up with J Balvin on the global hit “I Like It.” One insider described the timing as perfect, saying it will be a “huge look” for the rapper.
Media Take Out sources add that Jay-Z, who manages the NFL’s entertainment programming strategy, supported featuring Cardi B in the show.

While neither Cardi B nor the NFL has publicly confirmed the performance, MTO reports that the agreement is complete and rehearsals are underway.
Meanwhile, after Bad Bunny was announced as the halftime performer for Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium, backlash quickly followed. Many fans argued that the choice doesn’t appeal to the broad audience that watches the game each year. The criticism grew in September, leading to a petition demanding a replacement. While the Grammy-winning Puerto Rican artist has a massive global following, some viewers claim his music doesn’t connect with the NFL’s core fanbase.
The petition emphasized that the issue was not personal, but about inclusivity and reach. “I want to be clear I do not condone any racism or hateful behavior connected to this petition. I have no issue with Bad Bunny as an artist he is talented and successful. My concern is simply about the Super Bowl halftime show needing an act with broader appeal across genres and audiences rather than leaning into one lane that may not connect with the majority of viewers,” the petition on change.org reads.
“The Super Bowl Halftime Show is one of the most iconic events in entertainment, drawing millions of viewers from all around the globe. For decades, it has been a platform to celebrate music that unites people, offering a shared experience that brings together fans from different backgrounds, tastes, and cultures,” the message states.
In October, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell made clear that the league has no plans to remove Bad Bunny from the upcoming Super Bowl halftime show.
