*Get ready for more wild disputes, unexpected tears, and gut-busting laughs as the second half of “Ms. Pat Settles It” season two returns Tuesday, May 6 at 10 PM ET/PT on BET. The outspoken comedian and Emmy-nominated star Ms. Pat is back on the bench, delivering her signature unfiltered verdicts in a courtroom like no other — one where family feuds, broken friendships, and messy relationships take center stage.
This season, Ms. Pat is once again joined by her “Jury of Her Peers,” a rotating cast of comedians and celebrity guests including Tamar Braxton, Ray J, TS Madison, Deray Davis, Karlous Miller, Carmen Barton, and Chris Spangle. Kourtlyn Wiggins returns as the bailiff, bringing familiar chemistry and over 20 years of friendship to the courtroom. “We’ve been friends for over 20 years,” said Ms. Pat. “So when the show came to be and I picked him as a bailiff, I knew he would work side by side really well with me.”
In true Ms. Pat fashion, the second half of the season doesn’t shy away from outrageous or heartfelt moments. Among the upcoming cases: a car theft between sisters, exes fighting over an engagement ring, and friends clashing over what “treat yo’ self” really means. Ms. Pat recalls one particularly memorable guest who “was out of the federal penitentiary” and “ready to fight.”
Despite the laughs, Ms. Pat emphasizes that “Ms. Pat Settles It” doesn’t ignore the emotional weight of real-life issues. “There have been times me and the jury have been in there crying,” she shared. “Sometimes we step in and we take care of the bill ourselves… Some of the stuff, a lot of the stuff you just don’t see.”
She also attributes the success of the show’s vibe to her celebrity guest jurors. “I’m not going to pick no diva because I’m not going to work that hard. If you need extra sh*t, you’re on the wrong show. I can’t do it,” she said. “They want to make the show better. They like the show. And usually they’re my friends.”
For fans wondering how “Ms. Pat Settles It” compares to her scripted sitcom “The Ms. Pat Show”, she explained: “When you see me on that bench, I don’t see any cases before they come out… everything you hear come out of my mouth is just off the top of my head. So it let me be honestly raw and funny… when you see me as a judge, I’m standing alone.”
Viewers can also look forward to spontaneous, laugh-until-you-cry moments — sometimes literally. Ms. Pat recalled one instance involving a unique case: “The Naked Chef… I had never heard of a Naked Chef, and I laughed the whole episode. We had to keep redoing it because we all couldn’t stop laughing.”
Still, the show carries deeper messages beneath its humor. “It’s okay to sue your relatives,” she said. “In the end, if you come in front of me, I’m going to make sure I put you guys back together when it’s all over… it’s way easier than going to jail.”
At this point in her multi-platform career, “Ms. Pat Settles It” reflects both her growth and consistency. “I hope it reflects that I’m funny. And still doing it,” she said. “No matter what situation I’m in… I can still make people laugh.”

As for what makes the show special, she keeps it simple: “They’ve never seen a courtroom like this before, I guarantee you. I always say it is what Judge Judy would have done if they hadn’t let her go.”
Following each episode of “Ms. Pat Settles It”, viewers can stick around for “The Ms. Pat Show” season four on BET, with season five slated for release this fall.
“People that don’t have BET+, they can catch season four on BET following Ms. Pat Settles It every Wednesday night,” Ms. Pat noted.
So why shouldn’t fans miss an episode of “Ms. Pat Settles It”? Ms. Pat puts it best: “You’re just sitting there on TikTok letting this world run you crazy. Get your behind off TikTok, go over to BET and watch Ms. Pat Settles It… because it is funny.”
