*Will Smith experienced “I Am Legend” flashbacks during his weekend trip to Zürich, Switzerland.
The Hollywood icon shared in an Instagram video on Sunday in which he explained that due to travel delays, he had to unexpectedly spend the night in the area.
“A little walk through the streets of Zürich,” Smith told fans. “I’ve never been to Zürich before. This is the first time. Our plane couldn’t take off so we had to stay the night in Zürich. And it’s all mine. It is so quiet.”
The clip captures Smith strolling through the silent, eerily empty cityscape.
“I’m having I Am Legend flashbacks,” Smith said. “Looking for Fred. What you doing out here, Fred?”

In the film, Smith’s character Neville befriends a mannequin, whom he names Fred.
“This is fantastic,” he said, noting that he never gets to “just walk through a city like this” anymore.

Meanwhile, Smith and Michael B. Jordan are co-starring in “I Am Legend 2,” the sequel to Smith’s 2007 blockbuster film. Jordan previously mentioned that the project is in development.
Release dates and filming schedules have not yet been confirmed.
