*TikToker “Cooking With Kya” has gained viral fame for her cooking videos and bold claim that her meals could “steal your man.”
Kya’s videos have millions of likes but her undeniable influence is not without controversy. Critics have called her a “pick me,” and some women have posted videos expressing frustration with their partners for watching her content. Ice Cream Convos reports that one TikToker was allegedly beaten by her boyfriend following a disagreement over Kya.
The hate for her content escalated after alleged private videos of Kya were leaked online, sparking heated debates on social media platforms. On X one person wrote, “Hawk Tua Girl & Bobbi Althoff got endorsements deals and made hella bread CookingWithKya got hate & people copying her formula.”
Another person commented, “And it’s black women doing all the hating while copying her formula !!!” A third wrote, “Duhhhh. You think today’s black community was going to allow a young attractive black woken to get famous because she cooks and men support her? That would give off the wrong idea.”
