*The celebrity lineup for season 33 of “Dancing with the Stars” has been unveiled, with “Real Housewives” star Phaedra Parks leading the cast.
“Everybody knows I’m sassy, classy and some of my friends are a wee bit trashy, but if you come for this Mirrorball, it will get nasty,” Parks told “GMA.”
ABC has also tapped convicted scam artist Anna Delvey to help boost show ratings as she is also part of the cast that includes “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum Tori Spelling, former “Bachelor” Joey Graziadei and former “Bachelorette” Jenn Tran, actors Eric Roberts, Reginald VelJohnson and Chandler Kinney; athletes Danny Amendola and Dwight Howard; Olympians Ilona Maher and Stephen Nedoroscik; and model Brooks Nader, per “GMA.”
“America is going to be shocked,” VelJohnson told “GMA.”
Former NBAer Howard said he’s “been dancing my whole life, but not ballroom dancing.”
Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough are returning as DWTS co-hosts alongside judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough.
The new season of “Dancing with the Stars” premieres Sept. 17 on ABC.
In related news, we reported earlier that Parks is reclaiming her spot on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
The busy mother of two is making a full-time return to the series for season 16. Her comeback follows the announcement that Kenya Moore is leaving the show. The former Miss USA was let go after allegedly leaking explicit photos of new cast member Brittany Eady.
Parks confirmed her RHOA return on Instagram last month, with a photoshoot of her holding a peach. “You called, I answered,” she captioned the post.
Parks joined RHOA in season 3 and left the show after season 9. She returned to the franchise for the “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Ex-Wives Club,” which is streaming on Peacock.
