*Remy Ma is exposing tension between her estranged husband, Papoose, and his new girlfriend, Olympic boxer Claressa Shields.
The rappers have been married since 2016, but it appears they’re heading for divorce after accusing each other of cheating. The former couple has turned to social media to air out their marital issues. In a post shared on Dec. 12, Remy accused Papoose of having an affair with Shields.
“Papoose dum ass fell asleep on the phone with Claressa Shields,” Remy Ma captioned an alleged screenshot showing Papoose texting the boxer. “Laying in my house he refuses to leave. This bitch supposed to be a world champion boxer and get scary ass hung up soon as she heard my voice.”
The posted messages on Instagram also accuse Shields, 29, of spreading false stories to make Remy look bad. The hip-hop star said Papoose, 46, refused to publicly address the rumors and advised her to stay quiet. According to reports, in response, Remy shared private text messages she allegedly sent to Papoose, who responded in a post calling Remy a “narcissist.”
“I BEGGED @papoose to put out something to stop the narrative and he kept telling me just stay quiet that that’s the best thing to do…,” Remy wrote. “Don’t worry I saw EVERYTHING now the world gonna see it since u so tough boo.”
Remy called Papoose a “f*ckin Dummy,” accused him of “plotting…to destroy me” and said he threatened to leak explicit videos.
In one post, Remy wrote that she is “a ONE boyfriend woman” and laughed at the idea of her ex buying Shields gifts.
“He’s a taker not a giver,” she wrote. “Plus I’m the one with the bag lol. Please, stop playing with me cuz I’m not the enemy you want. I am not even mad actually I’m very happy—and that’s why your boyfriend is mad.”
After Remy Ma shared a series of pearl-clutching screenshots, Papoose respodned in an Instagram post of his own, in which he said he repeatedly asked Remy Ma for a divorce.
“Sad to say that Remy Ma is a narcissist,” he wrote. “She chose to cheat repeatedly. Now that I finally moved on, she’s playing the victim. I have requested a divorce numerous times. She rather clout chase on social media than handle this like civilized adults. I did not wanna do the social media foolishness. For the sake of my six-year-old baby. She has to go to school. As you can see I remained quiet through this all.”
Shields, meanwhile, encouraged Remy Ma to “stop lying” and she warned Papoose “to do something today about this girl.”
“… my PR team gonna freak out when they see this,” Shields allegedly wrote. “I can’t be up here exposing her etc before Dec 25th the movie coming out,” she added, referring to the release of “The Fire Inside,” a sports biopic about Shields training for the 2012 London Olympics.
“I’m not worried about nothing she say or put in her story,” Shields added.
