*Michael Irvin is once again under investigation for misconduct.
The incident occurred in Texas, but the Allen Police Department has not released any significant details, Complex reports.
“There has been an allegation, but we are not prepared to release any details at this time due to our investigation being in its very early stages,” Allen PD Public Information Officer Jonathan Maness said in a statement.
Irvin’s attorney, Levi McCathern, said his client “didn’t do anything wrong or inappropriate.”
The lawyer told ProFootballTalk that there is “absolutely no truth” to this latest allegation.
The NFL Hall of Famer faced a misconduct accusation last February and was booted from broadcasting during Super Bowl week for the NFL Network and ESPN. In a court filing, the Marriott claimed the Cowboys legend asked a hotel employee ‘if she knew anything about having a ‘big black man inside of [her].”
Marriott said Irvin “appeared to be visibly intoxicated” during a conversation with the female staffer.
“After Irvin finished leering at the Victim and turned back to Employee 1, he said aloud ‘she bad,’ ‘she bad…’” followed by a sexual remark, according to the company’s legal filing. He then “slapped himself in the face three times, saying ‘keep it together Mike.’”

The staffer claims she had a disturbing encounter with Irvin in the lobby of the hotel days before Super Bowl LVII. The allegations prompted the NFL Network to drop him from hosting coverage of the big game.
Irvin denied the accusation, which didn’t lead to a criminal investigation. However, he filed a $100 million defamation lawsuit against Marriott, which was ultimately settled.
