*Mathew Knowles, Beyoncé’s father and former manager, is speaking out about his superstar daughter’s Album of the Year snub at the Grammys.
Beyoncé has the most Grammy wins, with 32, but has never won Album of the Year.
Speaking with TMZ, Mathew claims Beyonce’s record label, Columbia Records, does not lobby on her behalf for awards when it comes to voting. He cited the 2017 Grammys when Bey and British singer Adele, who is also signed to Columbia, were both nominated for Album of the Year — and Adele won the award.

Meanwhile, as we reported earlier, JAY-Z called out the Grammys over his wife’s lack of Best Album wins.
The hip-hop artist questioned the voting process at the 66th Grammy Awards while accepting the 2nd annual Dr. Dre Global Impact Award on Feb. 4.
“We want y’all to get it right. At least getting close to right. And obviously it’s subjective. Y’all don’t gotta clap at everything. Obviously it’s subjective because, you know, it’s music and it’s opinion-based,” the rapper stated in his acceptance speech, People reports.
“But, you know, some things — I don’t want to embarrass this young lady, but she has more Grammys than everyone and never won album of the year,” he added, presumably referring to how wife, Beyonce. “So even by your own metrics, that doesn’t work. Think about that. The most Grammys, never won album of the year. That doesn’t work.”
JAY-Z added, “You know, some of you gonna go home tonight and feel like you’ve been robbed. Some of you may get robbed. Some of you don’t belong in a category. No, when I get nervous I tell the truth,” he asaid while accompanied by daughter Blue Ivy on stage.
