*Today, Lance Gross showed his support for the Disney Dreamers Academy students at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida!
The Howard University alumni said his dad was his greatest mentor.
“My father was my superhero…I would watch him. And I had mentors from afar, people I didn’t really know but I studied them. Like Denzel Washington and Jeffrey Wright, and many more,” expressed Gross. “I looked at their career paths and I modeled mine after theirs. Everybody has their own path. I chose what worked for me.”
He added: “Mentorship is important because you need a blueprint. One of my mentors now is Tyler Perry. Everything he touches turns to gold. He has one of the most amazing blueprints I’ve ever seen. Mentorship is super important because once you see it, you know it’s possible. Sometimes it takes people to push you.”
