*DeSean Jackson, a former NFL wide receiver, claims his ex, Kyla Phillips, abandoned their sons.

According to The Blast, Jackson says Phillips has become brainwashed by a religious cult called “The Most High,” and he now wants sole custody of their children DeSean, 8, and Jace, 5.

Jackson and Phillips lived in Florida for three years before parting ways in 2020. After Jackson moved back to California, he returned to Florida to bring the children back to the West Coast for a visit in February 2023, “but when it was time for the visit to end, I called the [Phillips] to make arrangements for the children’s return and [Phillips] gave me a later date to return the children,” the lawsuit states.

However, she ultimately “stopped calling me about the children’s return, so I enrolled the children in school here in Los Angeles and the children have been living with me since.”

The Blast reports that Jackson claims Phillips is “dating a man with cult-like behavior” and says she has “become a member of a religious group called ‘The Most High.'”

The legal filing alleges that his ex “appears erratic” in videos posted to Facebook. In one clip, she said, “the members of The Most High are WOKE and everybody else is not.”

The Blast reports that Jackson is asking for supervised visitation if Phillips returns for the children. He claims she visited the boys only twice in 2023.

“We don’t know what [Phillips] is capable of since she joined ‘The Most High’ cult which is why we have filed the request For Child Abduction Prevention Orders,” the docs state.
