*Power 106 host Bryhana Monegain is taking legal action against 50 Cent for injuring her with a microphone that he hurled into the crowd during his Final Lap Tour set at the Crypto.com Arena back in August.
It was reported that he threw the microphone into the audience after being triggered when it malfunctioned.
The mic struck Monegain in the face and wrist … “resulting in severe and permanent injuries,” per TMZ. Monegain was hospitalized following the incident.
According to TMZ, “Bryhana says she suffered a concussion and a forehead laceration, among other bumps and bruises,” the outlet writes.
“A source connected to 50 says the woman wasn’t supposed to be in the restricted area … but unlike the mic, that argument doesn’t fly,” TMZ writes.
She’s suing for lost wages and medical expenses.
Fiddy was initially a suspect in a criminal felony battery report related to the mic-throwing incident, which he was ultimately cleared of, TMZ reports.
50 Cent has not responded to Monegain’s lawsuit.
