*William, a 13-year-old “self-taught chef” has gone from sharing his mac-and-cheese recipe to receiving an invitation to “Hell’s Kitchen” from an impressed Gordon Ramsay.

The Blast cites a recently shared TikTok video that finds the famed cook watching the young chef making Beef Wellington.

Weighing in on the clip, Ramsay made his view of the chef’s beef Wellington recipe known.

“You are handling this recipe with such confidence,” the “Hell’s Kitchen” fixture voiced about how William seared the beef, chopped mushrooms, shallots, and thyme, and made spinach crepes.

“This is looking very good. Make sure the crepe is nice and thin,” Ramsay stated. “Dude, this is looking very good. Seriously, I wasn’t cooking like this at 12.”

William’s memorable cooking triggered a positive reaction from Ramsay, who is known for his tough critiques of fellow mealmakers. So much so that Ramsay issued a special invite for his junior peer.

“In fact, young man, do you know what? This is looking that good,” he continued. “I would like to invite you to Hell’s Kitchen as my guest. Check your DMs. Well done.”

Ramsey’s stitched video and reaction struck a nerve on social media, with viewers giving a thumbs up to William’s cooking skills. The clip, which quickly went viral, has generated more than 15 million views and 11,000 comments, The Blast noted. Needless to say, the reaction to William’s video has far exceeded the 1 million likes he desired.

“Instead of a million likes he got a deal of a lifetime.” a viewer shared. (And he did get more than 1 million likes, too!)

“The kid impressed the person who doesn’t get impressed,” another viewer wrote in the comment section, while another viewer posted, “Well done William. You caught the eye of the real cheese…Let’s gooooo.”

William’s beef Wellington is one of many dishes he has cooked on social media. Highlighting the youth’s catalog of recipes (meatballs, fried rice, pizza, burritos, Nutella stuffed pancakes, ice cream (without an ice cream machine and heavy cream), lemonade, and donuts), The Blast singled out a homemade lasagna William made from scratch a few days ago that landed on TikTok and Instagram.

The young chef’s cooking process for the lasagna, which detailed how he made the dough for the pasta, chopping onions, celery, carrots, and garlic, and mixing all that with the meat and sauce in the pan while cooking, was a hit, with more than 2.8 million views on TikTok and thousands of comments
