*An Atlanta woman went viral last week after refusing to get out of the car for a first date who took her to The Cheesecake Factory.
According to the Daily Mail, the TikTok footage was shared online by a woman named Monique Santos, who claims she is not the woman in the video. The clip shows an unnamed woman complaining to her date that the chain restaurant was “embarrassing.”
“He’s got me at The Cheesecake Factory,” the woman states. When her date walks around to open the passenger door, she locks the door and shakes her head at him.
The woman rolls down the window and says to her date, “This is The Cheesecake Factory. This is a chain restaurant. Who takes someone that looks like this to a chain restaurant.”
Once he’s back in the car, he asks: “So, you expect a man to go all out on the first date, is that right?”
The woman snaps back, “You’re supposed to. When you take out a beautiful woman and you’re courting her – because I get courted – you’re supposed to take care of her, you’re supposed to cover her, you’re supposed to protect her, cherish her, treat her well, right?”
As Daily Mail report, her date agrees, adding: “I went into the date with expectations for myself – to keep you safe, to respect you, to pay for your food, to pick you up – and just treat you like a gentleman [should]. Which I believe I have done.
“I, on the other hand, have certain expectations for a girl I go out with on a first date. I expect her to be respectful too, I expect her to be cooperative.”
The man reveals that when he arrived at her home to pick her up, she made him wait an hour and didn’t invite him up to her apartment. He also explained that he initially made a reservation at another restaurant but due to her being late, they missed it.
“Maybe we are not right for each other so respectfully I’m going to just drop you off at home,” he tells the woman, leaving her stunned. Watch the moment via the clip below.
