*Whoopi Goldberg dropped the B-word on “The View” Monday when she misspoke while discussing a recent poll in the UK about travel.
“A poll of 2,000 adults in the U.K. found that, when people travel, cuisine is more important to them than landmarks or bitches,” she read, before correcting herself and shouting, “Beaches!”
The hilarious moment had Goldberg’s cohosts Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin laughing and joining in on the gaffe, TooFab reports.
“I personally travel for the beaches,” joked Haines, with Navarro adding “I will travel anywhere for a good bitch.”
As TooFab reports, Whoopi previously explained that she and her cohosts are having to write their own notes on index cards amid the writers strike.
“It is day two of the writers strike, and that means we’re still writing things on cards and, hopefully, if we’re not sure what’s going on, we will ask the amazing Brian over there. Yes, a little hand for Brian. Thank you, Brian!” Whoopi said last month, referring to show producer Brian Teta.
“So, you’re going to hear how it would be when it’s not slicked up, okay?” she added.
Last month, Whoopi had another amusing moment on “The View” when she gave Sunny a lapdance during the Hot Topics segment. The move came as the panel discussed whether lap dancing at a bachelor party counts as cheating.
“I said during our Hot Topics meeting that lap dancing isn’t cheating, but come to think of it, I’ve never seen a lap dance,” Hostin said, EW reports. “So maybe it is cheating!”
