*Two people were killed and five others were wounded Wednesday during a shooting at Yo Gotti’s Tennessee restaurant.

The shooting occurred at Prive around 11:30 pm Wednesday night (March 29), after a confrontation between two groups of men escalated into gunfire in the parking lot. One man died at the scene while another reportedly died at a local hospital.

KTLA Los Angeles reports that four men ages 37, 35, 31 and 30, and a 25-year-old woman arrived at hospitals by private vehicles.

Yo Gotti — whose real name Mario Sentell Giden Mims — purchased the restaurant for his mother. He was not on the property at the time of the shooting.

“On behalf of Prive, they’ve been in business for 10 years, and nothing like this has ever happened at their establishment,” said Arthur Horne, the owners’ lawyer, said they are devastated.

Horne said the altercation did not start inside the restaurant.

“It happened out in the parking lot, and it ended up in a shootout,” he said. “Nothing happened inside the restaurant. Despite any conflicting reports, they were closing, and this happened at the end of the evening in the parking lot.”

TMZ Hip Hop has obtained video inside the restaurant, and it shows the melee leading up to the mass shooting.
