*Tamika Scott revealed recently that she was granted a temporary protective order against her sister and fellow Xscape member LaTocha Scott.
In a new interview on Kandi Burruss’ web series “Speak On It,” the singer/songwriter gave fans an update about her and LaTocha’s volatile relationship.
As The Jasmine Brand reports, Tamika shared, “I’m just gone and say it. I did a temporary TPO order on my sister and her husband because I was getting threats, I was getting text messages. He even said threats I felt live when he said I lied on him and ‘You don’t do that to me.’ Or ‘You gotta deal with what comes with that.’”
She continued, “I don’t take certain things lightly. So I did a temporary TPO order and the judge granted it to me. Based on the evidence that I presented, I was granted the TPO order on them.”
As far as Xscape reconciling and reuniting, Tamika added, “So when you say ‘Can we get back together,’ it’s a TPO order out because he’s threatening me…The TPO order protects me just in case because [Rocky’s] known to pull sh*t out on people. It protects me and it also protects them because my husband is very quiet. He’s at his wit’s end. It’s not easy.”
Meanwhile, Tamika previously said she was open to rekindling her relationship with her sister following LaTocha’S apology over accusations of stolen money.
Tamika told TMZ that she “still hasn’t had a heart-to-heart with her sis since she publicly apologized for all the backlash,” the outlet writes.
As we reported previously, LaTocha’s husband/manager Rocky Bivens is accused of stealing royalty checks from Tamika. According to SandraRose.com, during a conversation with YouTuber Tasha K, “Rocky slipped and admitted he cashed the checks because LaTocha deserved the money as the group’s lead singer,” the outlet writes.
Rocky and LaTocha later denied stealing Tamika’s money during their appearance on “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show,” according to Rhymeswithsnitch.com.
