*Simone Biles hosted a “Cloud 9”-themed bridal shower last weekend at The Juliana in Houston Heights, Texas.
On April 4, the Olympic gold medallist gave her followers an inside look at her bridal shower, PEOPLE reports. Biles shared photos from the event on her Instagram page which showed cloud-like balloon installations hanging from the ceiling and a wall, and a neon sign reading, “On Cloud 9 Simon Owens.”
Guests were reportedly treated to a cocktail bar inside a white truck, a giant cream-colored cake, and champagne cocktails.
“On Cloud 9 BRIDAL SHOWER☁️????????️,” Biles captioned the Instagram post. “Feeling so loved & blessed.”

In a separate post, Biles shared a group photo of her bridesmaids which reportedly include her sister, Adria Biles, Steph Magellan, Kayla Simone, Rachel Moore, and Rebecca Delaney.
Biles will wed NFL player Jonathan Owens, 26, sometime this year. The couple announced their engagement on Instagram last February after two years of dating. Biles has not disclosed the wedding date.

Last October, Biles took to social media to tease a glimpse at her wedding dress from the bridalwear label Galia Lahav. As PEOPLE reports, on her Instagram Story, Biles told fans that she ultimately chose two dresses.
“The first dress I tried on was one of the ones I picked,” she wrote. “The second one was about 8 in I’m guessing.”
Biles told PEOPLE in April 2022, “Right now, wedding planning is going pretty good,” she shared.
“I feel like I’ve only become stressed out within the last week,” she added. “Trying to choose a venue and stuff like that, because there are so many great places to get married, and I feel like that’s a really big decision.”

The superstar athlete once told a follower online that she “just knew” she was going to marry Owens the moment she met him.
“So fun fact, the day after I met Jonathan, I told my bestfriend [sic] Rachael that I was going to marry him… I just knew,” Biles shared, PEOPLE reported.
