*Actress LisaRaye recently reacted to the alleged altercation between Chris Brown, Usher, and Teyana Taylor.
The incident occurred at a celeb-filled birthday party thrown by Usher for Brown. According to Hollywood Unlocked, Brown was drunk and pissed that Taylor was at the party. Apparently, he’s up in his feelings because Taylor turned down his invitation to participate in his Michael Jackson Tribute. The busy mother of two was working on a movie at the time but Brown is said to be mad that she didn’t make time for him. So when Brown saw Taylor at the party and Usher refused to make her leave — things went south.
As we previously reported, Brown allegedly said some disrespectful words to Taylor. When the “Yeah” singer defended her, Brown allegedly responded by calling Usher a “coward” and bloodying his nose, according to Hollywood Unlocked.
LisaRaye defended Brown during a recent episode of ‘Cocktails with Queens.” According to her, Brown is often unfairly blamed for incidents due to his past behavior.

“Why he gotta chill? Why he gotta chill?” LisaRaye asked. “What if he felt just like what he said? ‘F*ck her!’ What if he felt like that? And he was saying that to his friend?”
“What I don’t like about it is that every time his name is brought up that he always gets automatically blamed because he is that way. We know him to be that, so it gotta be him.’ That’s what I don’t like — when people have that kind of stigma because I got that…it’s quick for you to think that, ‘Oh, LisaRaye would have did that’ or ‘LisaRaye said that,’ and I don’t like that because that very next time it could have been very different, but you blame me because of my past,” she said.

Brown responded to reports that he assaulted Usher by claiming he intervened to protect his child when people started pushing backstage.
“y’all been geeked all weekend, y’all dragging it now,” he wrote in TSR’s comments section on Instagram, according to The YBF. “It was mad people backstage and security was trying to clear everyone off the stage. People started pushing back. I INTERVENED to let them know MY CHILD WAS BACK THERE. So y’all can keep ya narrative.”

Usher appeared to dispel reports that he was assaulted by Brown and his entourage. He posted a video on his IG Story of his face, which showed no signs of injuries. See below:
