*A Connecticut man was caught on a home security video fighting off a group of thieves that attempted to steal a car.
As TMZ reports, the incident occurred in Rocky Hill, CT, on April 10 and shows one of the perpetrators chatting on a cell phone while getting into an unlocked red Infiniti parked in a driveway. A man who lived nearby runs up and pulls the man out of the vehicle.
The two begin fighting before three more assailants run up to the scene and start beating the homeowner. The man vigorously defends himself against the group until they flee in a getaway car.
According to TMZ, it’s not clear if the man in the clip is also the owner of the vehicle. He was not seriously injured by the assault. Watch the melee via the clip below.
Investigators were reportedly looking for the four individuals who attempted to steal the car.
