Flavor Flav Proudly Waves His Swiftie Flag

*When it comes to Taylor Swift, Flavor Flav is not afraid to wave his Swiftie flag proudly for all to see. During a recent interview with Tamron Hall, Flav revealed why he is a loyal Swiftie, saying Swift “keeps it real” with those who appreciate her and her music.

“I love Taylor Swift’s music,” the Public Enemy rapper confessed to Hall. “Let me put it like this, I listen to her music real good, and she keeps it real with her audience. She writes about a lot of the things she goes through, and then when she gets out on that stage, a lot of people can relate to her.”

Although Flav’s love for Swift may be hard for folks to believe, the “911 is a Joke” rhymesayer shared that he has been seen attending multiple shows on the pop superstar’s Eras Tour, wearing a beaded friendship bracelet like other Swifties have been known to do.

“Anybody want to trade a bracelet with your boy?” Flav asked the Tamron Hall Show audience.

Ultimately, the stars lined up for Swift and Flav, who has struck a nerve with the “Cruel Summer” vocalist. According to AmericanSongwriter.com, Swift returned Flav’s love for her several times by sending him merchandise to him directly.

In March, the pair met at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. From there, it was all about capturing the moment as Flav and Swift took a selfie. The picture found its way to Flav’s Instagram, which featured a lyric from Swift’s 2020 song “Willow” in the caption.

“I come back stronger than a 90s trend,” Flav wrote Flav, who displayed the lyric again on a shirt he wore to the iHeart Radio Music Awards red carpet

“Love me some Taylor Swift, man, always did,” the rap star told Billboard. “I heard that Taylor Swift keeps her clock on 12, just like mine. The reason why I keep my clock on 12 is because 12 o’clock points straight up. Every day, I’m straight up with you.”
