*Charlamagne Tha God discussed the future of the popular radio show program “The Breakfast Club” amid DJ Envy‘s legal drama.

“The Breakfast Club is bigger than any of us as individuals. I’ve always felt like that,” Charlamagne said during a recent appearance on the Rap Radar podcast, Hip Hop DX reports

“My mind… what I always wanted for The Breakfast Club was new talent constantly comes in and is a part of this… is under this umbrella of the club. So whether Angela Yee is there or I’m there or Envy’s there, the platform can still continue,” he added.

“I’ve never felt like The Breakfast Club was just a show about three individuals. That’s always where my mind was,” Charlamagne said.

We reported previously that Envy is named in a lawsuit against his business partner, Cesar Pina, alleging the duo defrauded multiple investors of millions of dollars. Pena’s wife, Jennifer, is also named in the suit Anthony Barone and Anthony Martini filed. The plaintiffs claim that the trio “utilized the invested funds to sustain or bolster their opulent lifestyles.”

DJ Envy has denied the allegations, declaring that his inclusion in the lawsuit is only due to his celebrity status.

Fans believe Envy may soon be out of a job after iHeartMedia, owner of “The Breakfast Club,” reportedly posted a job listing via the Workday platform seeking a co-host for the popular radio program.

The move came amid reports that the U.S. Department of Justice raided the New York-based morning show offices in October in connection with the real estate fraud investigation. FBI agents reportedly seized laptops, desk computers, and hard drives.

“My understanding is that the report that federal agents visited iHeartRadio offices yesterday and removed electronic equipment in connection with the investigation and charges brought against Cesar Pina is false,” Envy’s attorney said in a statement. “The complaint that was filed against Mr. Pina by DOJ in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey was filed against Mr. Pina, personally, not my client.”
