*The Daily Wire’s Candace Owens and Ben Shapiro are sparring online after Shapiro took issue with Owens’ criticism of Israel amid the Hamas conflict.
Owens called Shapiro, a radical Jewish man and supporter of Israel, “emotionally unhinged” and “unprofessional” after he was filmed calling Owens “disgraceful” for her “faux sophistication” on the conflict, Forbes reports.
“I think her behavior during this has been disgraceful, without a doubt,” Shapiro says in the clip. “I think that her faux sophistication on these particular issues has been ridiculous.”
Conservatives and pro-Zionists have criticized Owens for taking to X/Twitter to post that “no government anywhere has a right to commit a genocide.”
She recently responded to Shapiro, the co-founder of The Daily Wire, who urged her to quit the news outlet after she publicly quoted Bible verses.

“Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God,” Owens wrote. She added: “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other.”
“You cannot serve both God and money,” she wrote.
“Candace, if you feel that taking money from The Daily Wire somehow comes between you and God, by all means quit,” Shapiro replied on his X account.
“You have been acting unprofessional and emotionally unhinged for weeks now. And we have all had to sit back and allow it and have all tried to exercise exceeding understanding for your raw emotion,” Owens clapped back at Shapiro on X/Twitter. “But you cross a certain line when you come for scripture and read yourself into it. I will not tolerate it.”
Several X users have called on Shapiro to fire Owens for not supporting Zionism, but he doesn’t the authority to boot the host of the Daily Wire’s “Candace Owens” talk show.
