*Blac Chyna is going through a personal enlightenment, including a mass shedding that includes her past image, silicone and stage name. But is one facet of her evolution not all it’s cracked up to be?
On Wednesday, Blac Chyna took to Instagram with word that she’d received a Doctorate of Liberal Arts from the Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College. “On January 17, 2023 I got my Doctorate of Liberal Arts from Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College. Doctor Angela Renee White,” she wrote in the caption, referencing her real name.
The school’s website states that its students are offered a “flexible, focused and practical education” to help “grow deeper in God’s Word and their ministry to others.”
However…
Buzzfeed reports that STSBC is not accredited with the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or the U.S. Department of Education. According to the outlet, the school is accredited by an evangelical organization called Transworld Accreditation Commission, which was referred to as a “fake college accreditation agency” by GetEducated, an independent guide to online education. Its President and CEO, De’Ronald C. Bradford, holds two “doctorates” from STSBC.
Tuition for a doctorate from STSBC is reportedly $10,000. If reports of its accreditation shortcomings are true, then the school’s promotion by Blac Chyna can cause some problems, mainly leaving students with a meaningless, valueless degree.

Chyna, who now officially goes by her birth name Angela White, said she was baptized on her birthday last May, and deleted her multi-BuzzFeed has reached out to Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College for comment.
