*Aoki Lee Simmons, the daughter of Kimora Lee Simmons and Russell Simmons, is officially a Harvard graduate.
The 20-year-old model earned a degree in classics and government, The Blast reports.
“I feel grateful, proud, and relieved – in that order,” Simmons told PEOPLE. “It’s a surreal feeling to be done with something that was such a huge part of my life. Now, like every other graduate, I’m on to the next chapter.”
She continued, “I’m so thankful for the village of people that spurred me along and helped keep me focused,” she said.

“My mom, my sister, my little brothers back at home. It took a whole tribe, trust me.”
Next up for the budding star is following in her famous mother’s footsteps as a working model.
“I’ll be in New York modeling, writing, and working at my mom’s company,” she told PEOPLE. “There are so many projects that I can’t wait to dive into. But it will be nice to take a breath.”
In 2019, Kimora turned to social media to gush about her daughter getting into Harvard. At the time, she also took aim at the college admissions scandal involving actresses Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman.
Loughlin was accused of paying $500,000 to an admissions fixer who helped get her two low-performing daughters into USC by claiming they were part of the rowing team when in fact, they were not.
“Yoki can’t row or anything like that. There was really no hope for us in that area. I’m just so proud that you did it on your own… Praise the Lord,” Kimora posted.
