‘Real Housewives of Miami’ Star Dr. Nicole Martin Talks Engagement Parties and Cast Instigators | EUR Exclusive

*Are you ready for a new season of “Real Housewives of Miami?”

Things are spicy this season with the ladies – Guerdy Abraira, Lisa Hochstein, Julia Lemigova, Dr. Nicole Martin, Alexia Nepola, and Larsa Pippen. Season five will give fans new alliances, loyalty tests, and relationships on the line. Also joining the cast are friends Kiki Barth, Adriana de Moura, and Marysol Patton. Check out the trailer above.

Dr.Nicole is still excited about being newly engaged to her long-term partner, Anthony. Things seem to be falling into place, but to be completely healed, she must face old wounds with her father. EUR’s Jill Munroe spoke exclusively with Martin about what fans can expect this season.

The anesthesiologist shared that getting engaged was a complete surprise and she is happy her partner Anthony decided to “choose her forever.” Martin enjoyed having that private moment off-camera. But she is looking forward to sharing her engagement party with fans and the rest of the cast, which you’ll get to see this season.

“It was a really beautiful event; we paid homage to Las Vegas – which is where we met – it’s going to be an entertaining episode,” Martin said.

As far as the actual wedding, we’ll have to see how it goes in Season five. Martin said the couple has a lot going on, noting that “We just sold our house. We just bought a new house that we’re in the process of remodeling. So we haven’t jumped on the wedding planning bandwagon yet, but we’re thinking destination wedding vibes, probably something on the beach.”

Martin said it’s all about “quality over quantity,” and that she wants “something small and intimate” for the wedding setting.

“I don’t think I want to go through this huge hoopla of like a 500-person wedding.”

Martin will be quick to uninvite anyone who brings bad vibes to her wedding.

“If you’re coming with bad vibes, stay at home. Someone got disinvited to the engagement party for having bad vibes. So I will cut someone off real quick. I protect my energy.”

This season on “The Real Housewives of Miami,” friend groups and friendships have been solidified. Martin told us how things have changed between her first season on the show (Season 4) and the upcoming one. She said it may be hard for people to understand that the cast is like sisters.

“You fight with your sister. But then you love your sister. And then you’re not talking to her for a couple of days. And then your friends again. So it’s a roller coaster,” she explained.

“I think my friendships with Guerdy and Julia have continued to strengthen. We bonded over the fact that we joined the group at the same time, and we were initially struggling to find our footing in the group. So I think that resonates with all of us. And then, of course, this season, we all showed up for Lisa, who was having a tough time,” Martin continued. “So I think all of our friendships have strengthened with Lisa independently. And it’s been nice to get closer to her and have our kids spend time together. Grayson and Logan have become really good friends, which is so sweet. And, some of the other friendships are still work in progress.”

Martin noted that Marysol is a “professional instigator and that Larsa is the accelerant. She pours gasoline on things.”

RHOM will premiere on December 8 on Peacock, with four episodes dropping that day. Season 5 has a total of 16 episodes.
