Roland Pollard and his 4-year-old daughter Jayden

*Back in March, a series of videos of a father and daughter dancing melted hearts across social media.

Meet Roland Pollard and his 4-year-old daughter Jayden, who are showing off their impressive cheerleading-style dance moves during the COVID-19 quarantine; videos of which were posted on Instagram by Embracing Black Culture.

As you swipe through the slides you will get why this one has stolen our hearts.

In the first clip Pollard tosses Jayden into the air where she spins and lands feet firmly planted into his palm. She continues a full routine with her dad which involves flips and jumps that require her to land on one foot, smiling all the while.

The clips continue on, showing the pair doing even more stunts at home and the gym –giving a full spectrum of this little girl’s skills.

“This is so precious. We’re about to go try this with our sibling during this quarantine.” captioned EBC about the beloved post on Instagram.

“That’s beautiful to see a tight trusting bond between daughter and father,” commented one user.

Pollard revealed in an interview on “Good Morning America” (GMA), that he and his daughter have been practicing cheerleading stunts from before she could walk or talk.

“Knowing all of his years of experience…I trust him with my life so [I] definitely know his judgement with her,” Pollard’s wife responded when asked about her reaction to watching her daughter performing the dangerous stunts.

Pollard himself stressed that he would “sacrifice myself so her well-being is taken care of,” the father told GMA.

He created a Tik Tok (and Instagram) account to document his father-daughter routines.

“Everyone knew I was going to turn her into a flyer, but we didn’t realize she would catch on at 3 years of age,” he said in an interview with In The Know.
